After getting everything set up on a test WordPress website, I clicked the optimize button in the media library, and it was taking a while. I was like this is not good. So, maybe it is still a little early to use this plugin, but I am sure they will get it working. So, for now, I will continue using my offline WebP compressor on the desktop.
